Permanent lighting in Battle Ground

Battle Ground is where we sell the most Magnetic Pebble. Outside the city limits, the acreage homes toward Meadow Glade, Venersborg and the lake have shops and pole buildings with steel roofs and steel drip edge, and magnets hold a deep pebble to that edge with no track, no tape and no screws. Inside town, the subdivisions built since the 2000s look like the rest of Clark County: two-story homes with 200 to 250 feet of roofline, some in HOAs, most on regular lots. Both get the same published pricing: track from $32 per foot, magnetic at $35 per foot, system included.

From $32 per foot, controller included. Free measure anywhere in Battle Ground, usually within three days.

Shops and barns count

A 40 by 60 shop has 200 feet of eave, which is more roofline than the house. With a steel drip edge, Magnetic Pebble at $35 per foot puts lights on it in half a day with nothing attached to the building, and the same controller runs the house and the shop as separate zones. We test the edge with a magnet at the measure; if it is aluminum, we switch to track on the fascia.

Homes and rooflines here

Acreage homes here are set back from the road, sometimes a few hundred feet, so the lights are for the household and the driveway approach rather than the street. That argues for brighter lights (Deep Pebble or puck) on the house and wrapped trees along the drive. Old Town homes near Main Street are 1920s to 1960s single-story with short, simple rooflines that price near the $2,500 minimum.

HOAs: varies by subdivision. The HOA guide and template letter.

What it costs here

Typical Battle Ground homes we measure run 150 to 250 feet of lit roofline. That range in the two packages we recommend most here, controller included.

PackageRate150 ft250 ft≈ Monthly at 250 ft
Magnetic Pebble$35/ft$5,250$8,750$753/mo
Deep Pebble Track$37/ft$5,550$9,250$796/mo

Monthly is a 12-month, 5.9% APR example. Running cost on Clark Public Utilities at 8.79¢/kWh: about $0.95 a month for 250 pebbles at four hours a night.

Questions we get here

Can you light my shop and my house on one system?
Yes, as zones on one controller if they're within cable reach, or with a second controller if not. Each zone has its own schedule and colors in the app.
How far outside Battle Ground do you go?
Anywhere in Clark County at the published price, including Amboy, Yacolt and the lake. Far-out addresses may carry a travel line on the quote, which we tell you before the measure.
Do you wrap trees on acreage?
Yes. Diamond Tree Wrap is $22 per light; a 30-foot maple is usually 90 to 110 lights. Trees over 20 feet need a lift, which we quote up front.
How is it attached to my house?
The color-matched channel is bonded to the fascia with 3M VHB tape on a cleaned surface, with brackets at corners and joints. No screws through the roof, no penetrations in the drip edge or shingles. Magnetic Pebble uses magnets on a steel drip edge; C9 Classic uses clips.
Do they survive Pacific Northwest rain, wind and ice?
Yes. The lights are sealed and rated IP66 and rated by Minleon to -20°C; the strand sits inside a bonded channel with snap covers, so there is no free wire for wind to whip. Ice on the channel dims the line until it melts and does no harm. We install in Washougal and Gresham, where the Gorge east wind tests everything.
