Who's on the ladder, and why the prices are on the website
Permanent Lights NW installs permanent Minleon lighting and seasonal Christmas lights across Clark County and the Portland suburbs from Vancouver, Washington, with our own crews, led by the owner.
David Bogdanov, owner and lead installer
David measures most jobs himself and is on the ladder for the installs that need it. The business started with two questions homeowners kept asking: who can put permanent lights on the fascia without screwing into the roof, and why won't anyone say the price before the visit.
Both answers are on this site: a mount that never penetrates the roof, and a price list you can read before you call.
Why Minleon
We chose Minleon over the franchise brands for four reasons. A dedicated white diode in every pebble and puck, so warm white is a true white. Four ways to mount (channel, magnets, clips, wrap), so the light fits the house. Parts sold at retail, so you're never tied to one dealer. And a price structure that lets us publish the number. Every brand's published specs, side by side.
Licenses, bond and insurance
Washington L&I treats custom-fit permanent lighting as electrical work done under a licensed electrical contractor with permit and inspection; Oregon requires a CCB license. Our numbers are in the footer of every page and on every quote, with the bond and general liability that go with them. Ask to see the certificates at the measure.
